This delightful chap was sitting on the fence about 8 feet away from me and was taken through the patio window, I had to use manual focus on the new lens because the auto focus kept focusing on the reflection of the football that as per usual was on our TV at the other end of the lounge!!! never mind early days but a reasonable shot for me!!!!
These two guys were at the very bottom of our garden first thing this morning, I'm guessing the chappie in the tree is requesting that the chappie on the ground has the decency to leave him a bit!!!!

Smashing pics Jayne I think the mature male blackie is a starling bird that always stands out.Know what you mean about reflection;was told that a polarising lens filter will help???
