Shot taken early this morning, I heard a loud cackle and then the light suddenly faded, fearing the next major air disaster was about to happen in our garden I went into the garden to see this monster landing in next doors tree!! Quite a bit of shouting followed from a nearby house who has a pool full to the brim of prize Koi Carp!!!!

know how I feel when I see one around our garden and we just have common old goldfish

Well done on getting some photos of the Heron. I had one visit my pond regularly last year but it always flew away when it spotted the slightest movement.
